Left 4 Dead 2, a survival horror multiplayer shooter from 2009 is actually still being supported, and at times updated! It isn’t very often when games get such dedicated support. When I played through it, I played the story single player, then would hop on online matches every once in awhile. If you want the experience, and don’t want multiplayer, go ahead. It’s a well made game with decent teammate AI, so single player works, just not as well as multiplayer. If you just want to play campaign with friends or something, get the second one. L4D2 on the other hand has all the campaigns from the first one, new weapons, new campaigns and more players. As someone who plays fps games a lot, L4D feels smoother to me, and it’s better balanced. The maps are more detailed and varied, there’s a larger selection of infected to play as and fight against, more weapons etc. From a technical standpoint pretty much everything is better in L4D2.
